To Place a Tee

  1. Select the Tee option from the Fittings taskbar. The tee is ghosted onto the cursor.
  2. Place the tee where the man pipe run and branch intersect. The tee will automatically align the branch end accordingly.

Place Tee then Add the Branch Run

  1. Select the Tee option.
  2. Select the placement point on the main pipe run.
  3. Select the direction of the branch end.
  4. In the Place Pipe Run dialog, define the pipe run settings such as Flow Direction (Location), Auto-Routing options etc.
  5. Route the pipe run using the standard routing procedure.
  6. When finished routing the run, right-click to display the Properties dialog.
  7. Define the tag number and size for the branch run.
  8. Click OK to complete the procedure.
